It is a pity that the steps in some passages are not so well preserved, which becomes dangerous for the elderly and children, but it is a great ride, to do, specially in a sunny day, when you'll be able to see the Andes mountains.

It is a beautiful oasis in the centre of Santiago, surrounded by noisy traffic. A magical place! Perfect to forget about grey reality, great to read a book, eat a sandwich in the sun or just enjoy the fantastic place.

Others may not agree, citing Cerro San Cristobal as the city's best view, but I beg to differ. This park has character and charm, and a much better view of the city. It may not be as high, but the contrast between Andes Mountains and the city itself is seen perfectly from this park. Climb to the top of the tower/balcony and see for yourself.

We loved this stop on our tour. The climb is a bit strenuous, but it is not too difficult. Once you are up on top, the view of the city is incredible. The remains of the castle are grand and the fountain is so pretty. Great photo opportunites here. We really enjoyed our visit here. It was cold a rainy when we visited and we still enjoyed it very much.

Its very close of the centre of the city, and it´s a very nice garden. Its very relaxante, with a great fountain, that reminder a lot Spain.
