The top of the hill provides you with fantastic views over the city and out the the mountain ranges and the funicular railway was a nice way to get up and down.

“Great views”
Reviewed January 4, 2013 via mobile

This is the best view of Santiago. It is easiest to drive up as the funicular was under maintenance. While a bit smoggy the views are spectacular especially at sunset. Sitting at the feet of Mary looking out at the city the most peaceful feeling comes over you. Definitely a must in Santiago.

“Great place but be careful here!”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

I visted this place. It is a beautiful calm place overlooking the city. However make sure you either get a taxi or the minibus up and down the hill - my friend and I were mugged and beaten-up at knife-point on the way back down. Having said this it is a lovely place to visit but be careful!
