Owner description: This 860 meter hill in the center of Santiago features a zoo and wine museum at the midway point and a gondola ride to the top, where a virgin mary statue overlooks the city.

This hill is a park, you can walk or go up using a funicular. It's spetacular view from the city worths your visit. It's a place full of green areas, places to buy souvenirs, snacks or simply pray a little bit (there is a church there).

This is an amazing place in the heart of Santiago, a hill with a few square kilometres of woods. Yet, two of the three access points are for cars and the bloody brainwashed consumer comes with the bloody buggering SUV to have a look at nature. For the pedestrian it is really in pain the lower part of the back. If you go on sunday morning, no one is buggering you because the guys are way too hammered and you can have a very nice jog (it's a ~ 250 m altitude difference over ~ 5 km). Note that fat arses could use the cable car to get up, but it's sooooo complicated.

Could of been a great ride in the cable car, however it was out of operation. Still, on a clear day there is no better view across the city.

Is simple, nice, it was cold, so not to much flowers but the view of the city is pretty. And it was clean. The walk up and it long and most travellers choose to arrive at the summit by taxi, tour bus, or cable car.

Es super bonita la vista, pero es la misma cosa que una vista de un departamento alto en la ciudad.

Climbing (not the funicular) up the Pedro de Valdivia side affords better sights. Get some "mote con huesillos" at the top, and enjoy yourself. People from all over the world, good view, and affords an opportunity to check out the Bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista upon return trip down.
