Arrived before checkin time (1PM) but they were very accomodating. Rooms was very nice with comfortable beds. If I had a complaint it was that the power outlet next to the desk was dead so I had to run the power cord across the floor for my PC. Water was out all over that section of Santiago one night but they gave us ample notice. Good restaurant on premises and very nice breakfast buffet.

We stayed in one of the 20 apartments they had in a building one block away. It was very nice, clean, AC and secure parking in the garage. The only complaint was the noise. We were on the 5th floor and even with the windows closed it was very noisy.

When you check in, you get a coupon for a free drink and 15% off your meal. Since we had been driving for 10 hours, we decided to have a drink and an appetizer at their restaurant. We started with shrimp empanadas (soft tortilla shells covered with cheese) that were very good. Then we had a combo appetizer with chicken and mushroom pil pil (garlic & oil), small wheel of Gouda cheese, smoked salmon with cream cheese, bread, and something else which was great! There was so much food we saved over half for lunch the next day. This was the first time the standard 10% tip had already been added to the bill.

Since we were having a lot of problems with our rental car (do NOT rent from Alamo/National because they have a terrible reputation in Chile), the staff did a lot to help us with that problem. They were very accommodating and very helpful in every respect.

The buffet breakfast was the most extensive one we had after being in that country for 10 days. However, I was disappointed that I could not get an espresso because the restaurant was not open, even though it was after 9 AM.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from street noise. The apartment rooms are larger and cheaper than the ones...

We stayed here for one night on February 8th in the midst of our vacation before heading on to Easter Island. We had a lot of questions upon arrival (what was the best tour to do of Santiago and could they arrange it for us, our flight wasn't until 10pm the next night, could we check out and leave our luggage until we were ready to go to the airport, etc). Gonzalo, at the front desk, was AMAZING. He answered all our questions, set up the tour, and gave great advice on where to eat, etc. We were quite nervous when we arrived and he really helped to calm us down! Love the little area that this hotel is located in - Providencia. Lots of cute little restaurants to try out! We ate at Luguria which was EXCELLENT and at Olan (peruvian fare) which was just ok. Our only complaint about Hotel Orly was that we were put in the apartments which are HUGE and would be ideal for a long stay but since we were only there for one night, a room in the main building would have been better. Overall, great hotel that we would certainly stay at again should we ever return to Santiago (which is an awesome city)!

Stayed in an apartment a lot of street noise in #27, but very nice and sunny. Hotel staff friendly but short on being helpful. Did not have City maps nor could give directions to the museum we wanted to visit. Would not recommend their restaurant, but plenty others nearby. Breakfast part of the package.

This is a reasonable hotel with average to good rooms and a better than average breakfast if you can cope with the monster children let loose in the very nice dining area. Of course this is not the hotels fault but it does takeaway from what might be a delightful ambience. These people were just blow ins not guests so no stars for the lazy parents and i would have liked to see the staff have a discreet word with them. The staff were helpful if not sensational and I would have expected some effort at a boxed breakfast when we had to leave at 4.30am to the airport , after all we did pay for brekkie in the overall tariff. I don't believe this hotel deserves 5 stars maybe 4 or even 3. The restaurant doesn't open on a Sunday which we were not told so get your complimentary drinks before Sunday.

We stayed at the Hotel Orly for four nights at the start of our 24 day trip to wine country and Patagonia, arrangements made through our guide service. I could only hope that every small hotel I stayed in was like this. The staff is great. We arrived early on a non-stop flight. After checking in they invited us to have breakfast while we waited and our room was ready not long after that and you get a complementary drink in the restaurant. Yes the rooms are on the small side but have a refrigerator, tv and ours had a queen bed, lots of hot water and there was free wifi. The elevator is the cutest, smallest one you have ever seen. There is a hot breakfast that is ample and better than most, the fresh squeezed raspberry juice was a pleasure and the coffee was what you expect in SoAm. The desk made reservations for us and made sure we got messages on our tours and connections and made sure we informed when an unusual event happened in Santiago and nearly the entire city, hotel included, was without water for about 12 hours.

The hotel is in a great location with some of the better restaurants on the same street, money exchange across the street and the sculpture garden along the river a must see at the opposite end of the street.

We are already planning to return some day when we do a Chilean-Argentine Wine Trip.

Room Tip: Get a room on a lower floor, ours was on the 3rd, as the lift can barely hold 2 people. Your dining...

It was our hotel for our first 3 nights in Chile for a 2 weeks vacation.
The hotel itself is a 25-30 rooms hotel, clean.
Our rooms(becaause we coma back for our last night before our flight back in Europe) were from good size(twin both) and also the bathroom. The tub was small but we find it in all of our hotel in Chile.
Both rooms were on the back and so quiet.
Breakfast is excellent with 2-3 choices of pastries, very good marmelad. Fruits are top, but also in all of our hotels.
So highy recommanded.
Providencia could seemed far from center but subway and buses seems practical.
We all visit by feet.

Room Tip: on the back for quiteness
