The hotel is cozy, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is great! (In Providencia near some good restaurants). The hotel is popular, so booking can be difficult. Our room did not have a good view, but it was still comfortable, especially the bed. It is one of the nicest boutique hotels that we have stayed in. Breakfast was buffet and not very inspired. The front desk staff speaks perfect English and couldn't have been nicer. Great little hotel for the price.

Room Tip: You (or your travel agent) need to be in touch with the hotel to discuss possibilities.

Not too bad.. little cosy hotel with all the required features. Good buffet breakfast, and English speaking front desk staff. Unfortunately we had a few problems with our hot water on the top level and need the staff to fix.. maybe because we we’re on the top floor. It took a good 5-10 minutes to get hot. Location is good.. close to a few restaurants, but more important close to the subway, which gets you anywhere for ~$1.20USD.

We had one night here before flying back to Australia. Our flight got delayed until 0300hrs so I was very relieved to have booked an extra night's accommodation as the hotel was full. Meant we had dinner locally and then came back, had showers, and a rest before heading to the airport around midnight. Reception staff extremely helpful - they rang LAN for us after we had gone to the LAN office right next door after getting an email to say the flight was delayed, to be told by the LAN staff there that according to their computer system our flight was on time and not delayed! (which was wrong...) Hotel very close to a very efficient underground metro and lots of restaurants. Felt very safe. Breakfasts very good. A very enjoyable stay!

This is a charming hotel in the best part of Santiago, in the heart of the restaurant district, a wonderful area to walk and explore. They give you two options: a hotel room or an apartment in a building diagonally across the street, which is where we stayed, taking a short walk to the hotel for breakfasts.

This was one of the best laid out apartments we’ve ever seen, with comfortable furniture, good beds in both bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine, and a wall of windows. Their price was unbelievable - $135/night. Had it been $300, I’d say that would be a fair value, but at $135 it was a steal. Btw, the hotel rooms were $165/night, but we didn’t see them. The apartment had a lot of space for two people to work, relax, and enjoy without bumping into each other at every step.

The only slight negative was that the apartment was near a busy intersection and there was a bit of traffic noise. We’re from New York, so we’re used to it, but if a total quiet is important to you, ask for an apartment facing towards the back, away from the street. Either way – enjoy!

We chose the Orly hotel for the second time, and that says everything. This time we spend five days in late October in one of the apartments the hotel owns, that are highly recommended .They are cheaper than the hotel itself, in a building that is a hundred meters apart in the same street, and we had our included breakfast in the hotel. The apartment is modern, beautifully furnished. Since the Pedro de Valdivia street is very noisy at times, we recommend to ask for an apartment to the back. Ours was the 61 and it was perfect. It has a kitchenet fully equipped and a cleaning service every day.
the only reservations we had were about the wifi in the apartment, that was very temperamental.

The first time we came to Orly in early October we stayed in the hotel, in a king room, that was also very nice.a little old but with an european charm. The breakfast is served in a lovely enclosed terrace and there are sitting rooms that gives the feeling of home. We had lunch in the restaurant and it was OK.

An observation about guests security: the one step down to the breakfast room isn't signaled and there should be a supporting rail in the bathroom tub of our room, number 44.

A very warmly recommended hotel, in a superb location, in one of the most beaytifull streets of Santiago.

Room Tip: Choose an apartment to the back of the building.

We stayed two nights in Hotel Orly in October 2012 on our way to Pagagonia. This is our first time visiting Santiago. Staying in this hotel and walking around the area gave me a very good first impression to Chile. The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood. A few blocks to the subway station. We felt safe in walking around and taking the subway to downtown. The subway is very clean and modern and 4 or 5 stops will bring you to downtown historical points of interest.

The room in the hotel is very small but clean and comfortable. The lounge provided coffee, tea, juice, hot cocoa, fruits etc all day long. We enjoyed eating the variety of fruits in the afternoon. We airplane arrived in Santiago very early in the morning. The receptionist invited us to breakfast before we check in to our room. The food was very good.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel Orly.
