Although the rooms were okay, some things were broken (light bulbs, hairdryers) and trying to get them replaced or fixed was very difficult. Most of the staff were not al all interested in service, and sometimes complained if they were asked to perform their assigned function. This goes for maintenance people as well as front desk staff, and dining room personnel. On a very early day, several people did not receive a wake-up call, which made the entire group late. On checking, several rooms were not added to the wake-up call list. This had been the responsibility of the hotel staff, as all group members were listed. When challenged, the front desk man said "It's not MY fault."
There were not enough towels, and no bath mat until the last day.

The hotel is located in the lovely residential area of Santiago, with access to the subway, pharmacies, restaurants and near Cerro San Cristobal. In spite of the location I cannot recommend that anyone stay here.

Stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of a two week tour around Chile with my WA Ag/Forestry mates. First good impression. Nice restaurant area, small bar but we found a patio sort of hidden off bar. Our room was right above this however and it got rather noisy at night. Pisco's were yummy. The waiters were appropriately grumpy as were the front desk staff. We were told we could exchange $ for CLP's but there was a $20 limit. The Cambio is not far away however (about 2 blocks in the downstairs of the mall across the street.) Starbucks is one block away. Food was average. This is not a coffee culture so don't expect much from the restaurant coffee. We had a lunch here which was OK, not all that great. Rooms were clean but old. Baths need an upgrade badly or at least a strenuous cleaning. The pool is on the roof, unheated and it closed at 8:00 (locked up) which seemed a bit early. Overall, it was ok but there are probably better places out there for the money.

The room was clean, spacious and quiet but the air conditioning was not cold. The staff were not super friendly and the service at the restaurant was sub-par. The food was not very good at the restaurant and we waited forever for our food.

I left my pijamas pants on the bed. And they were never seen again... I warned the front desk, and they couldn´t care less. That´s not all: they vaccum at 8h (you expect to sleep a little more during your deserved vacation), no free wi-fi and the bussiness center was always crowded. But sure, the location is great.

Stayed here in early November with a small group (25); flew down one day early. Staff, esp. Francisco, at the front desk charming and helpful. Ate several breakfast and dinners here; all excellent. All waiters and staff helpful and pleasant.
