“Loved it!!!”

I really enjoyed Chile. I found the people to be really genuine and accomodating--as was this hotel. You'll find the bell staff, waiters, etc. to be super helpful. The rooms are really clean and room service fast. I got a great massage that cut down on my jet lag recovery time. The bad part is that the gift shop, and stores nearby are all closed on Sunday.

We weren't in town long enough to see most of the sites. We did get to go to the Los Dominicos Handicraft Village, which was the best market I have been to while traveling hands down. The selection is good, the food is good, and there aren't people chasing after you bugging you to buy stuff. Most take credit cards and US$.

Have fun! Watch out for the Pisco, though. It will catch up with you!

At first we were concerned with location, being "out" in Vitacura and all, but it turned out to be a very nice and quiet area, with little pubs and a nice residential feel to it. The hotel itself was great and the staff very friendly. Julio, one of the concierges was very helpful. In the restaurant, Mauricio was extremely friendly and a great host. The food was fantastic. I have just one complaint: the toilet was broken when we got there. It somehow didn't flush all the way. Kind of a big deal when everything else was so good. At night we went to this little pub called "Play Back Studio". It was cozy and very relaxed. I wouldn't recommend this Hotel to someone who is looking to be within walking distance to the moneda and the other tourist attractions. If you want peace and quiet in a large city such as santiago, this is the place to be.

This hotel is absolutely flawless in every respect. We had a wonderful romm with mountain view, our son enjoyed the indoor pool on the top floor, the breakfast was much more than we ever expected, the staff very attentive and always with a smile. We would definitely go back!!

I stayed here the night before my flight home to the US. I arrived very late from the Atacama Desert and had no reservation, yet the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Comfortable room with excellent view of the Andes.

Adequate business center with about 8 computers.

Gym was very well equipped for a hotel. Two trainers were available to assist.

The best part was I was able to store my luggage at the hotel and hang out there all day (use the computer, the gym, etc.) until I left for the airport.

We stayed at the Radisson Santiago recently for two nights. The hotel is new, modern and clean and well located in a business area of Santiago (Las Condes in El Bosque). The room was large and clean, had great views of the Andes and a large LCD TV with 99 channels of Satellite TV. The bathroom was mediocre for a hotel of this class. The free breakfast was standard buffet fare. The coffee was cold, there were no teaspoons and I had to ask a waiter for some. Fried eggs or omelettes were not offered. Guests had to make do with the precooked scrambled eggs. Failure to attend to little details like this are what lets the Radisson down. The staff were not overly efficient and I found them to be a bit on the surly side. The internet was slow and practically useless. Possibly if I had paid for the more expensive options rather than rely on the free hour it may have been better, but for a so-called business hotel, high speed reliable internet should be a given. Overall I found the Radisson very average.

The hotel is located in an area renowned for its snobbishness and sterile atmosphere. The staff at the hotel are aloof, unhelpful and behave as if they part-owned the hotel. Their degree of arrogance and "airs" is a major put off for travellers from more enlightened countries. The young woman at the reception desk is slow, has poor command of the English language and is at time quite rude and inappropriate. The breakfast room is simple and on several occasions I caught the staff serving coffee making rude comments in Spanish about foreign guests and even making jokes at their expense. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this reputation. Our room had great views and excellent LCD TV, but the toilet remained blocked for the duration of our stay and the internet facilities were poor, unreliable and expensive. We also encountered a lot of attitude in the gym area, where a middle aged lady in a white overcoat spoke to us in an arrogant manner. This is something which management needs to address. Staff need to be trained adequately and teach customer service skills. These are low level employees who act and behave as if they were somewhat "superior" to the guests. Very disappointed!

Clean comfortable and secure. Santiago is not the safest place for tourists. We took the subway, and were attacked/robbed. This has nothing to do with hotel. Staff very helpful, room was very good value for money. The area surrounding the hotel felt safe and we were able to go out in the early evening and enjoy the sights - the hotel itself was very secure.
