We did not stay in many hotel in South America. The hotel Atton however gave us a very relaxed and pleasant stay in Santiago.. The room was large and clean (although the bathroom could have been cleaned better)and the staff were very obliging and helpful particularly with our lack of Spanish!! We found the restaurant to be satisfying, particularly for breakfast, but also for the occasional diner and lunch. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. While the hotel is not so close to the city center it is situated in a nice area and is not far from the underground trains!!! Thank you for a comfortable stay!!!

Room Tip: High rooms have a great view of the mountains

Very nice rooms with mountain views. The staff at the reception is very helpful and available.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Very nice neighborhood with metro station close.
Taxis called from the reception charge too much!

Room Tip: Ask for higher floors

For us,the location was poor,in the midst of apartment houses, office buildings and too far from any restaurants or lounges to walk to. Cabs were available and not expensive if you know where you want to go and speak Spanish. The room was nice, very comfortable beds but no washcloth,no Kleenex,no ice-bucket.I had to go down to the bar and ask for ice.The included breakfast was quite good with hot and cold food and excellant coffee.Lunch and dinner was expensive as with all hotels but tasty and the service was good. This would be a great hotel for the business traveler who is familiar with the city and speaks the language but not the best for an American tourist. We were with a package tour and had no choice, next time we will ask for Marriot.

Room Tip: The higher floors are quieter, there is a lot of traffic close by.
