Well located in Santiago, the hotel’s restaurant has great service and an interesting menu. The highlight is a rooftop spa and pool. For many of us this is a gateway hotel when you’re on your way to wine country, or Patagonia. Or Easter island. This Ritz is a fine hotel with very good service.

Stayed 3 nights after a trip in Chili and Bolivia.
Although we prefer a smaller boutique hotel, this was a nice place to stay.
Large room view a city view, clean and quiet for its location.
Room are decorated in a classic way, you can expect in this kind of hotel.
Room a top 5 star, but relaxing stay

Great breakfast and we also liked the restaurant with a nice waiter from Tuscany Italy

Reception was fast, but a bit unipersonal even arrogant. Very friendly Belgian girl at reception.

Would stay here again.

Visited this hotel at the beginning and end of a 10 day trip to Chile and appreciated it even more at the end of the journey. It’s well-located in the financial district of Santiago with several near by restaurants and amenities. Comfortable bed w high thread count linens, robes, washcloths (something of a rarity in other Chilean hotels). Only SNAFU was on registration; we were given a room that was already occupied. Thankfully the guest was not actually in the room when we entered.
I’d stay here again.

The rooms are luxurious and modern and the service is impeccable. On the club floor, they have breakfast and snacks for dinner. Club guests also have garment pressing included with their room rate. Highly recommended, but pricey

We came to Santiago for 5 days and were scheduled to stay at the Hyatt Centric Hotel. However, upon arriving at the Hyatt Centric, we learned that only two adults were allowed per room there. Our 20-year-old daughter was going to stay with us for the first few nights, so that was not going to work and we didn't want to have separate rooms for our stay. So, we quickly changed gears and decided to try to the Ritz-Carlton instead. Obviously I am familiar with the brand name. But, I had never stayed at one of the properties before. Well,, it lives up to the name and exceeded our expectations.

Here are the pros and cons:

Pros:

-incredible service. All the way around. Mario O. was our server each morning for breakfast and he remembered our names, remembered our drink orders, had great English, and always had a smile and friendly greeting for us. He is as good as they come and the hotel is lucky to have him! The front desk staff were the same. I wish I could remember all the names because they were all so good.

-The hotel allowed us an early check-in and a late check-out without additional charge.

-the spa and pool and gym are top notch and just plain delightful.

-the breakfast buffet was terrific, as was all of the other food we had.

-the rooms and beds are comfortable, well-appointed, with a great ambiance.

-Literally right next to the El Golf Metro stop. We would walk out the front door right to it. Plus, close to many great restaurants and activities.

Cons:

None that I can think of. It was the perfect stay.

I will absolutely stay here again if/when I return to Santiago. And if this stay, and people like Mario and the other staff members, are indicative of the Ritz Carlton brand, I will be adding it to my go-to list of hotels to stay at when I travel.

A+++

This is very special 5-star hotel with fabulous facilities where we enjoyed 8 superb nights in Club-level junior suites.

Our accommodations had been recently renovated and were attractive and spacious, with high quality furnishings, very comfortable beds and efficient, silent air conditioning.

Housekeeping and valet services were excellent and kept us feeling pampered.

The Club Lounge offered a comprehensive range of delicious food and drink options from breakfast in the morning to nightcaps and delicious desserts late in the evening. The wine offerings were outstanding.

Every member of staff throughout the whole hotel was exceptionally polite, friendly and eager to please, with many greeting us by name even though they meet many guests each and every day.

Special mention should be made of Chiara, Francesca, Ignacio and Claudio, who provided delightful service in the Club Lounge and were always ready with a smile and kindness no matter how busy they were. Andres in the elegant, traditional bar was very welcoming and he skillfully mixed exceptionally fine cocktails often tailored to our own taste off the menu . Christian at the bell desk was ever helpful and kind.

We thoroughly recommend this hotel.
