The hotel has 3 towers. If you want to use the SPA, you should use the Orient Tower (Torre Oriente) with elevators next to it. If your room is another tower and if you want to use their SPA, you must cross the lobby and reception which is a little indiscrete. Their gym is quite good and modern. Their restaurant on evel -1, is good but nothing special. Service is excellent, and as I am business traveler, this is what mostly matters. If I come back to Santiago, I will definitely chose this hotel again. This hotel is conveniently located near a famous shopping mall.

Room Tip: You should use the higher tower, rooms ending 05, 06 and 07, the higher the better. You will get an...

Stayed here 1 night & was very pleased with the room & service. The airport transfer we requested from Marriott was there when we walked out of the secure area. We requested an early check in & were able to go straight to the room when we arrived around 10:00 am which was great after such a long flight. Room was nice, pretty much standard Marriott, comfortable bed & decent sized bathroom. Staff was very friendly & helpful. I had tried to book the Ritz but it was full. As much as I liked the Marriott I prefer the Ritz. The Ritz bar is very nice & it is in a neighborhood with shops & restaurants. The Marriott is on a busy highway with only a shopping mall to walk to. It is a fairly nice mall with lots of chain type restaurants, but a mall is a mall. After taking a look at the dining options in the mall we decided to eat at the Latin Grill in the hotel. We rarely dine at the hotel where we stay but were too tired to bother with a cab to go anywhere. The Latin Grill was excellent, had a very interesting menu. I would recommend the Marriott, I just preferred the Ritz for it's location.

Very nice hotel, located in Las Condes. Arrived at 8:30AM after a long flight from JFK and was delighted to be able to check into our room immediately. We were given a room on a high floor with spectacular views of the Andes. Front desk staff very helpful, accomodating and resourceful. Room was standard Marriott fare, but oversized, comfortable king bed, large bathroom with separate toilet. Easy walking distance to adjacent mall which had among other things a Starbucks, excellent supermarket (Tottus). About 15 minutes walk to the closest metro stop.

The Santiago Marriott has a lot to commend it - very nice rooms, excellent service, and close proximity to a major mall (if that is an attraction). It provides the comfort one would expect from a Marriott along with great views. Breakfast was very average for a Marriott - I have had much nicer ones at other hotels.

The biggest problem with the hotel is the location. While having a mall nearby is nice, the hotel is a fair distance from the main downtown area and from the upscale areas that offer more restaurants and walking opportunities. Even more troubling is the distance from the city metro. It is about a 20 minute walk to the metro, which is an inconvenience if you want to use it. Moreover, the hotel car service is many times the price of city taxis. Catching an inexpensive taxi downtown or to the airport is not possible from this hotel.

We stayed here in March 2012 with a group of friends. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The executive lounge is great-- they have a wonderful full breakfast, and happy hour complete with drinks and plenty of hor's d'ouveres. Rooms were typical Marriott style, but large with great bathrooms. Only drawback is that the pool is quite small without any sunshine for the majority of the day. The mall is located literally next door, in case of some last minute shopping.

Room Tip: opt to have the lounge access

I am a Marriott Platinum customer and cannot say enough about how much I love my home away from home. I stay here 2 weeks at a time, and have come to care greatly about everyone from the front desk staff, concierge lounge staff, the awesome bartenders in the lounge who make my coworkers and me laugh, the excellent bell staff, the sweet and caring housekeeping teams, and the managers. I have always felt safe, catered to, comfortable and it has helped reduce my homesickness greatly.
The beds are incredibly comfortable, the cleanliness impeccable, and the service outstanding. I dread the hotel filling up and my having to stay at other places, as none have compared in the price range the Marriott offers frequent business travelers.
Thank you, Marriott Santiago, for your excellence!

Room Tip: Concierge lounge access is worth it.

This Marriott is situated in the desirable Las Condes district, and is literally next door to the swank Parque Arauco shopping centre. As such, you would expect a lot from this hotel, and it does indeed deliver. From the great service and lobby, I was guided to my room, which unexpectedly had a large conference room built right into it along with TV and AV centre for doing presentations! The concierge lounge was similarly impressive, with the most creative displays for breakfast and dinner service I've seen in any Marriott lounge. For breakfast they had raw honey dripping from a real life honeycomb hanging. For dinner, there were several appetizers and desserts all creatively arranged, including ceviche and passionfruit mouse, and cupcakes. The views from the lounge overlooking Santiago and the Andes was similarly impressive particularly during sunset.

Room Tip: Get access to the concierge lounge, it's well worth it.
