We go to Hanzo often, it is near our house, good Peruvian-Japanese and well priced.
I was surprised to read some of the reviews here. I have been going to Hanzo since it has opened and have never seen it empty (we usually go at dinner) or with issues with their variety of fish available.
Last night (Wednesday) it was very close to full (we arrived at 8pm, early, but by 9 it was bustling). The quality of sashimi was excellent (they had salmon, tuna, corvina (Chilean Seabass), octopus and prawns, from memory), we had salmon only and it was proper sashimi grade belly salmon.
We also had the Hanzo ceviche, which is the classic style with Corvina, but with a slight variety, it had the most tender, delicious (quite salty, but I liked it that way) crispy fried calamari rings on top. It was really good. We had two different sushi rolls, can´t remember the names, but they were excellent too.
As far as previous comments go, there was definitely central heating, I had a 3/4 sleeve t-shirt on and despite the fact that it was nearly 0 degrees Centigrade outside, I was comfortable without my jacket.
The wait staff are friendly, mostly Peruvian and they are happy to recommend food if one is unsure of what to order.
We had a great Pisco Sour, as it was National Pisco Sour day and a bottle of Montes Reserva Sauv Blanc. The bill was around 60mil including a tip and we had a great evening.
