4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2014

If you are staying at the Ritz, or in the El Golf area, take a stroll over to Estro at the Ritz- Carlton hotel. They have a comfortable covered outdoor seating area as well as indoor area. The menu is very nice for a dinner. The wine service and wines offered are excellent. The ceviche was very good.if you are tired from travel, but still want a good pleasant dinner, this might be just the spot. The service was excellent.

“Great, if expensive, place for snacks and drinks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2013

Came here to picar before going to dinner. Good drinks, good wine list and good wines.

Told the waiter to just bring foods to snack on and he did a great job with lots of small plates with good seafood (typically) including a phenomenal sardine ceviche, tuna ceviche, oysters, eggplant, etc.

Very nice and great service.

Expensive but you get what you pay for.

“Contemporary Tapas”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2013

Wonderful terrace, interesting fire place, modern version of Spanish tapas. Some are more successful than others but in general a wonderful experience. As in any other tapas bar, you have to order at least three or four tapas to eat well. Better to go with more people.

“Amazing experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

Eating at Estro is always a fantastic experience.
Starting with breakfast, both King Crab Omelette and Benedict Eggs were delicious. Best ever had!
Dinner was great too.
Salmon Cevice and Grilled Tuna were an amazing and exquisite combination of flavors. Very creative use of great quality ingredients resulting in an unforgettable experience.
Both starters and platters were very nicely sized.
Service is top notch. Flawless!
Reasonable price.

“Certainly NOT a gastronomic destination”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013

If you stay at the Ritz-Carlton and do not want to go out for dinner, Estró is a decent choice. Otherwise, the food is average (some starters, eg abalone salad, scallops and salmon ceviche are even downright mediocre.) We had all 3 of their pisco sours, and none would hold the candle to the ones we had elsewhere. Not good value, but again to be expected of hotel eateries.
