“Mixed Feelings”
Reviewed December 22, 2013

The good: service, setting, flavour, chocolate soufflé. The bad: over cooked medium rare steak but largely because it was cut too thin (ask for the thickness of the cut when you order to be sure). The ugly: a trip to the restrooms takes you past the kitchen and fridge - more attention to presentation, housekeeping and cleanliness is needed here - this is after the selling point. Perhaps pricy for the overall experience.

“No luck finding perfect steak”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

Was always wanting to find the perfect steak and thought this place should be a safe bet, considering the highly acclaimed aged steaks which are supposed to be more flavorful. The waiter was very confident about us ordering the Entrecot cut, despite us asking about other cuts so we went with his. I asked for medium well but mine was not evenly cooked... it had rare and bloody parts here and there. Where it was cooked properly, the tastes were average, maybe I expected too high. Didn't want to send the steak back for more cooking especially after I've messed up the whole meat, so bad luck for me. My friend's was more evenly cooked and he seemed to enjoy the tastes. So, I guess its all down to luck. For ordering steaks, I guess go with your gut feeling regardless of how confident the waiter seemed. Recommended wine was average, not impressive too.

“Used to be good..”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

This expensive steakhouse used to be pretty good, but my past 2 visits have surprised me in a bad way..they raised the prices way too much..but what is worth, the quality of their steaks is no longer the same..too bad for what it used to be one of my favorites affordable steakhouses in santiago.
