I visited the Santa Brasa in Parque Arauco mall. My dad left an used fork fall down (reaching the ground) and asked to switch to another. The waiter brought other from the drawer but, at the same time, put the dirty one back, inside the drawer. And my plate came dirty, like it hasn't been washed good (they just pull out the rest of the food and bring back to the table to another guest use it).

We ate at Santabrasa in Parque Arauco. The service was reasonably good for Chile and the waiter we had tried his best to accommodate our lack of Spanish. He recommended the Bife de Chorizo (Sirloin strip steak). I had it done A punto - medium. The steak was done perfectly and it was very tender - they dry mature the meat - and juicy without being bloody. The basting was not sweet and sticky as some steak houses does it. The vegetables I had with it was very good as well. My colleagues was as impressed with their meat. The wine recommended my the waiter was superb and it became our standard wine order for the entire business trip. I recommend you book in advance as the restaurant is very popular.

We visited this restaurant on the advice of a friend while waiting on a long layover at the airport. It is a long cab ride back into town from the airport but was worth the trip. The restaurant was barely open for a very early dinner but was nonetheless outstanding. The bone-in filet and bone-in ribeye aged beef was expertly prepared. The appetizers were fantastic and the wine list is a who's who of Chilean wines. This was a steakhouse comparable to the best in the world.

I use to come to this restaurant with my fioncée for a great parrillada. Service is great, and food is out of this world. It's pricey, but it is worth it.
