Great food and wasn't too expensive. We went with our 2 little children and a friend from the USA. We had good service and great food. The main dining room is a little like a warehouse with its high ceiling... but it was well decorated.

Lot of meat, and lot of variety. Waiting for a place like this for long time.
Meat is prepared in the very Chilean way according to Chileans.
You get it on top of a heated coal plate. You an also cook it in the way you want.
Beef, Pork, Chicken, Sausages. It was worth.

Thanks to my Chilean friends who recommended this for me.

I am attaching a pic of the dish we ordered. Loved it.

We had an enjoyable experience at the Chilenaso. Service and friendliness was great! The steak and red wine was fantastic. Not cheap, but by Australian standards not expensive.

It's third time I eat in Chilenazos and I never been disappointed with the steaks. You can get a very juicy and tender fillet steak (360g) for 9500 pesos (around 15 eur). The starter with pebre is exellent, very nice bread and you can order a pisco sour for 1500 pesos (also very cheap) that is pretty strong mixed as well. It seems the place is very busy in lunch time so be prepared that you have to wait a bit if you arrive around 2pm.

It seems to be a place that locals love so that´s the reason I like it so much, no tourist place means no rip offs. If you love meat, like to hang around with locals and have patience you have to visit this place.

When we went there in April, we had cow ribs and since we never eat them in our home country, it was special. In September though we took the mixed grill and it was hardly worth eating it - greasy meat... Anyway, the restaurant is very loved by Chileans since it is always full - it is very crowdy over there and sometimes you have to wait at the entrance before they can assign you a table. I think a bit victim of their own success...
