We found Don Carlos at the end of a stroll from our hotel down Isadora Goyenechea and based on menu surfing decided to give them a shot. A great decision for sure. Our dinner consisted of fried provolone cheese (magnificent!), filet mignon, corn, and mashed potatoes (served as sides). All were perfectly prepared. A side benefit was that we struck up a great conversation with a couple at the table next to us, a Chilean couple with lots of great stories. The wine (carmenere this evening) was excellent and not expensive at all (a common theme in Chile). The wait staff were very attentive and prompt when asked for water or bread refills. All in all one fine experience.
