Description: Transport each one to north India with great energies, customs , culture , Music , Bollywood dances to enjoy authentic Indian cusine keeping Indian traditions in mind. A dignified, cultured and mystical place to enjoy with business groups to families to friends to the most loving person for a perfect romantic place where one can drink quietly in Kamasutra room to a private room for 8 heads to a open kitchen to a dance room to a room of god to room of Krishna for babies. A true Indian home where respect, service, humane values are the top priority for each cliente visiting mi casa. Namaste.

I still find Santiago as a city where good restaurants can pass completely unnoticed because Chileans don't appreciate good service and haven't developed a fine taste for good food. Chile has one of the finest Indian Restaurants in Latin America and Chileans aren't even aware of. That's why, I was delightfully surprised when I first discovered this place, where every detail was taken care of and the food was just splendid. For all these reasons, this place is more like an Oasis in Santiago rather than a Jewel of India. Good work Rakesh! You always manage to surprise me.

The reviews were very nice with the place, but wasnt good enough. 220 USD for one apetizer plus four main dishes. Drinks average 8-10 USD even sodas. Price/Quality wasnt reasonable. Food OK but wasn't the best I have tried. Environment poor, price too damn high. Not worth it.

The food and environment is ver nice... The service is good but slow and it's a bit expensive.
The owner is always around. He is very friendly but I felt he was over confident with e clients.

As I walk in, I am received by this wonderful host, who turns out to be the owner, if it is your first time, he will take the time to walk you through, if you are in companion of your loved one, he takes care to set the appropiate mood, the drink are awesome, and the service is amazing, you can sit outside where trees and fabric tents very well set and really comfortable for the view will keep you cool during summer and warm during winter.
Service is amazing, and the owner will come to you to talk about life and recommend something, all of the sudden, you get free samples of tea or bread--- he encourage us to eat with our hands! since he told us our energy transfers to the food and silverware has been used for too many people. "makes sense to me!"

My advice is go for it, you wont regret it, the food, the ambiance, the bollywood movies playing in the back, the cooks working in plain sight, and the excellent service.

Enjoy and Namaste!

This place is brilliant. The food is gorgeous and the owner makes you feel very welcome in his home, even helping to select food off the menu based on the kind of curry you like to eat. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Santiago. Thank you for a great night at Jewel of India, we only have a few more nights left in Santiago but we may be back :)
