“No guide turned up...”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

Went to the meeting point on Friday 8th February at 0855 and waited until 0915. There was no one there. We thought we'd try again and so we went to meet for the 1400 tour at 1355 until 1410 and no one turned up apart from a couple of other tourists in the same situation as us. We ended up following the route and using our guide book.

I guess the tour would be great if there was a tour guide, but you need to have a plan B!

Hi!
Thanks for your kind comment!! And we are really sorry that you couldn´t take our tour!! Unfortunately we have never had any tour at 9AM (our first tour starts at 10AM) and on Friday 8th all of our 3 tip-based tours departed with tourists as regular.

Please mail us to info@spicychile.cl to understand what happened to realize if you got confused with the Meeting Point (for Tour #1 at the corner of Teatinos and Alameda Bernardo O´Higgins) or if you where expecting guides from other company.

Hope anyway you had enjoyed your visit to our city and if you are still here, we´ll love to make it up to you inviting you to take one of our tours!

Regards!

“Okay”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

I did the market tour. The tour was huge. The guide was not very loud and it was hard to hear what he had to say. It was nice to see the markets though! I think it would have been much better if there were less people.

“Free is good”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

It was free but it was good enough for me to not begrudge a decent tip at the end. A little too much politics (I knew it and was dying in the heat so a shorter version would have helped). Took us over a fair portion of the inner city and told us interesting things. Great idea.

“Great tour by Simon - The Patromonial Route (tour 3)”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Did this tour this morning and it was fantastic. Simon was very knowledgable and a great guide - saw things we wouldn't have found on our own and stopped for a coffee at a really quirky place. Would definitely recommend this tour.
