One of the best decisions I made on arrival in Santiago was to go on the tour starting from Moneda ending at San Cristobal. It was the perfect opportunity to learn and visit some places I may of not otherwise discovered. The guide was great. Super helpful, good English and very enthusiastic! You only pay if you want and as much as you think the guide deserves...

Tour 1, guided by Antonio, was an excellent introduction to downtown Santiago. Antonio was knowledgeable about both historic events and contemporary issues, and his very energetic manner of presentation enlivened the tour. Highly recommended.

My wife and I took the walking tour on our first day in Santiago. It was very comprehensive and informative and the guide spoke very good english. (Unfortunately I cannot remember his name. )
By the end of the tour ( four hours ) we were worn out. I would highly recommend this tour. It was a great introduction to Chile.
I agree with PlanbetJM's comment about the cash. This tour was worth a lot more than a "tip".

Went on this tour that lasted around 4 hours through the highlights of Santiago. Blake- our tour guide was very informative and helpful. He showed us the main attractions including government buildings, markets, museums, cultural centres as well as recommended cafes. We even had a nice lunch at a cafe near Plaza Italia. I would thoroughly recommend this tour as a great orienteering tool for travelers not familiar with the area.

Benjamin is a great guide - humor and good knowledge of history of Chile. All his income is based on tips, so bring cash!
