It was a nice surprise to found this nice hotel/suites in downtown Santiago. Well located, very friendly staff, Well decorated rooms with all the amenities a traveler may need.
This is second time I stay with them, and defenetly I will come back.
Excellent price/value, you get more services for what you pay. So It makes your stay in the downtown area very joyable. Very International atmosphere with a selection of international guest, that makes this place, the best choice in the area.
I wish they had more hotels like these in the big cities.

Arrived for three day stay in Santiago on business. Staff was extremely helpful in coordinating my transfer from airport. Room was clean with a good view - and the bed was d. Staff also gave me helpful recommendations about places to eat and where to buy toiletries, as I do not speak Spanish.

The locations is good, the room/suite is good, but the service is inexistent... We were well received the night we arrived... the girl (Nuria, I think this is how she is called) was nice and offered us tours and all. Since it was late, we decide to wait until the next morning, since she said there are people there 24 hours a day to serve the guests... well, went down and the gentlement on the desk had a rude way to ask "what do you want"... I told him about the tours, he got the leaflet and said, call this number... I told him about what the girl had said the night before... and he replied "she doesn't know"... I thanked him and left surprised. Latter I called them again at their reception (it is really only an office at room 1004) and asked if they could provided me with the number of a restaurant to make reservation, and the reply was "I have a lot to do right now, and if you can wait I might be able to find it, or just look at Google"... I thought it to be just a bit too much and never called them again. Of course, I will never reserve with hotels administered by Ameristar and will not recommen them either.

Room Tip: don't go

This was our first booking with this type of apartment property in Santiago and it was very nice. The apartment was very nicely decorated and located on a quiet street near the university. There was an old cobblestone street nearby that had some nice restaurants. We would have stayed more nights, but they were full for the rest of the week. We ended up going online and finding another very nice apartment hotel a few blocks away. For the price, this place is a good value. The staff was very efficient, but I cannot say very warm and welcoming.

The hotel is situated in a good location for visiting the historic sights of the city, the rooms are nice but the reception staff are rude and do not want to help you. However, we were very well attended by Nuri, Nicholas and Guido, who work in the administration of the apart hotel in the 10th floor. If you need anything, look for them.

Room Tip: Beware of taxi drivers and service providers

This hotel is located centrally and within 10 minutes of the main streets and shopping areas. There are about 30 units located in a rental apartment building. The check in office is located on the 10th Floor.
The kitchen area has an oven, microwave, electric kettle and two heat rings but no pots or pans. The internet was a problem, very very slow for the first 3 nights and after complaining about this, the last night we were there the speed increased to 4Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload.
On April 17th at 1 AM, we awakened by a 6.7 tremor whose epicenter was 70 miles away. We were on the 12th floor and the swaying was very significant for about a minute. We were not given any earthquake instructions when we checked in so we were uncertain what to do. The next day at 3PM there was another tremor (5.1) but we did not feel it as we were in a vehicle touring the wine region. There were no cracks inside the unit in spite of the swaying but we saw damages to a church facade.
The cleaning is not good. The laminate floor is dirty and the bathroom floor was also not clean. However, the office staff is very friendly.

These are self contained, modern apartments, which are really well laid out - for us anyway!

They occupy the top 3 floors of a building with private residents, hence the reception for Infinity is on the 10th Floor, not the one on the ground floor, when you first walk in!

The first room of the apartment is a cosy kitchen and sofa area and then the bedroom (& TV) is next door, separated from the lounge area. This really good, as it gives you an internal door, which you can close (& lock) and secludes you directly from any noises in the corridors etc.

Once in the bedroom, in place of a wardrobe, is a 'walk-in wardrobe'! It was great, as it was another little room with so much space.

Breakfast was collected from the reception room on the 10th floor - coffee, sandwich & yoghurt, and taken back to your room. It was fine for us.

The building has other high-rised apartments behind it, where the locals live, so sometimes, loud rock music was being played very loud, til very late, which was quite annoying.

The reception is manned 24 hours and the staff were lovely - apart from 1 guy, who was a bit rude and we thought shouldn't perhaps be in the service industry! He never had eye contact and barely spoke if you asked him something.

Just a few minutes walk from 2 metro stations, Santa Lucia and Universidad de Chile.

Would recommend.
