This is an awesome hotel the only thing is it is far from the city. It is ideal for staying close to the airport or having a car to go to the city! i stayed there for a connecting flight twice and loved the experience, everything was impecable and there is nothing to be said which is not positive. Just make sure you know it is far from the city and you will need a car to go to and back from the city.

After a 14 hour flight we were greeted by a friendly professional staff that made sure all of our needs were met. The room was recently updated and very clean. We had a nice breakfast in the restaurant before moving on to our destination.

The best place to be if one has to stay close to the Santiago International Airport. Very friendly staff, good rooms, earthquake-steady (I lived through it), excellent Pisco Sour and breakfast, quality restaurant !

We loved our stay at this Hilton. The front desk was extremely helpful (especially Fellippe). We were unable to exchange cash at the airport and he was able to order us a roundtrip cab to the city and back and charge it to our room. They work with a specific cab company that charges $25 for ride downtown (they can also arrange a return cab ride from that company so there is no worries of a cab scam). They offer free transfers from the airport. The downtown is not the greatest, so we were glad to be away from it. Most tour companies had no problem picking us up from there (except the city tours, which charged us more). The hotel has business room to print flight tickets, a pool, hot tub, sauna, and nice workout room. The rooms were big, and had all the standard amenities a Hilton would have in the room (safe, adjustable bed, hairdryer, iron, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, coffee pot and refrig). There is a gas station about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel offers snacks, room service and has a restaurant. The restaurant even let us bring in our own bottle of wine from a wine tour to have with dinner (didn't even charge a corkage fee!). Breakfast was a buffet of hot, cold, and made to order foods. We loved our stay there and would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Santiago

This hotel was perfect for my purpose of a quiet place for a few hours sleep & refresh before catching my flight. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a shame that I couldn't stay longer and enjoy the facilities. It was very clean and comfortable.

I just stayed at the HGI Santiago for 4 nights while in town for business. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from the airport which is very nice. The hotel is very close to the airport. Depending on the time of day can either be a 20 minute drive to downtown or a 1 hour drive. The front desk staff are all very nice and helpful as well. The room is your standard bed, chair, and desk. Although pretty new and updated. The bathroom is also very nice. The bed is very comfortable. Now, for the not so good; the restaurant. I ate breakfast three times, dinner once, and lunch twice. The breakfast buffet is very, very limited on what they offer: scrambled or cook to order eggs, bacon, sausage, two fruit choices (usually strawberries and pineapple), and a few pastries. Lunch was very good both times. Dinner was just ok. Now for the problem with the restaurant; the service. It can easily take 15+ minutes to get your check. One night I came in for dinner and sat at one of the only tables that was clean. The waiter served the table next to me four times and did not even acknowledge that I was there. Another 5 minutes later I left and had to order room service in order to eat. The second time I ate lunch I asked 4 different wait staff for my check over a 20 minute period. This is a major problem when the hotel is the ONLY dinning option in the area. Next time I will stay at the Marriott downtown unless I have a short one day stay and need to stay at the airport. If you are staying for any amount of time at all go downtown. If you just need a quick one night stay at the airport, the HGI and the Holiday Inn are your only options.

We stayed there during our first trip to Chile. The area the hotel is in, is quite industrial, but the hotel itself deserves true destination award. Service was great, starting from security, wait staff, housekeeping and especially front desk. Manuel, who helped us at many diffrent occassions and Adriana in reservations were currtious, professional and genuine. kudos for them. The selection of food and wine in hotel restaurant is very impressive. The pool and fitness center make you forget about the outside world. The rooms are specious and clean, and amenities are so worth it. Great times!
