There are not many Indian restaurants in Santiago but this is the pick for its blend of good food and reasonable price. The location is easy to reach and there are quite a few outdoor tables, worth a visit.

For the ones not familiarized with traditional hindi food, Rishtedar looks great and tastes good, but I invited a friend from Mumbai who said it´s far away from the best of Indian cuisine. Watch out for the curry spices – from 1 to 5, the level 2 is really hot and should be the maximum option to the the sensible ones. The service can be really awful on sundays – we couldn´t get samosas, a lassi drink, even a chai were impossible to be served.

Very bland food. Totally agree with the other guy posted before me. Service was a total joke. The waiter had some attitude issues.

I've been to most of the Indian restaurants in Santiago, Majestic, Jewel of India, Soul of India, Passage to India, you name it... but this restaurant beats them all ... the quality of the food and what you pay for it is the best combination ... so I recommend it 100% ... my husband is very picky with his lamb, and he's had their lamb twice with no complaints!!! It's a small restaurant but it's worth the visit!!!

This Indian restaurant and the food has to be the best in Santiago. The staff were friendly, (although there was one very tall waiter who was a little scary) and the food was the best! All Indian restaurants in Santiago are quite expensive, compared to the UK and of course India, but it wasn't as expensive as Majestics in Las Condes.
The food was very quickly served, all hot and so tasty. My boyfriend asked for his dish to be very spicy and he got what he asked for, he was in heaven!
They have a great selection of drinks too, cocktails, beers and of course pisco sours.
They also offer delivery! Fantastic restaurant and we will definitely be eating there again!!
