Stayed here for 2 nights the beginning of our stay in Chile. The hotel is located in a posh suburb of Santiago (Vitacura) next to a number of high end boutiques and restaurants but is a little far from the centre of town.
The hotel scores high marks for design and comfort with spacious rooms (including bathrooms) that were well appointed. The roof top bar is reason alone to stay here with great cocktails and views, especially as the sun sets over the Andes and every guest should go upstairs, even if it's just to have a look.
My biggest gripe about this hotel is the service. Apart from one bellboy who was fantastic, the rest of the staff were useless, whether it was at the restaurant during breakfast or at the front desk when trying to change money (they never had any pesos despite imposing a limit of US$50 per day per room) to the concierge (who was not particularly knowledgeable). As a result of the poor service, I decided to stay elsewhere on my return to Santiago (see my review of Le Reve) and would think twice before staying here again.More
