Hi! I was at Santiago this Sunday with my friends, we only had 2 days at the city. Jonny our guide was super nice from the very first moment, we learned a lot about Chile & Santiago history. And also found out a lot of spicy facts!!! We had the best time! Thank you!

Thank Mayalmog

Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunblock, but definitely go. Our guide, Felipe, was very knowledgeable and very animated. We got a brief history of the city from its scandalous founding through the fight for independence, the dictatorship, and up to today. We also got to see many of the key attractions in the center of the city and bookmark them for later (recommended: Museo de Arte Precolumbino).

The suggested tip is 5-8 luca (about $10-16 US). Well worth it.

What a great walk we had with antionio. He was so knowledgeable and very friendly. Wear comfy shoes as you walk for 4hrs and then back to wherever you need to. We tipped generously but we couldnt help it as we learnt and saw so much in such a short time! Definitely a must do when in santiago

We did this tour on our first of three days in Santiago. It was a great way to get your bearings and familiarise yourself with the city, which was our initial aim, however it provided much more than that! The tour was informative as well as entertaining and engaging, and very cheap! Suggested tip is around $10 for a 4 hr tour. As others have mentioned, there is a break at a restaurant, however you are free to walk around the small artisan market in that area, Lastarria...One of my favorite suburbs. Lots of culture, but not too touristy. Otherwise, the food and drinks are at a reduced price for the tour. The tour ends at cerro San Cristobal, so we took the opportunity to take the funicular up the hill, also worth it! If you're happy to walk, this is a great way to see many of the main sites of Santiago, with information and history included!
