I've tried Osaka before when visiting Lima, there its not only cheaper but the waiters are extremely fun and attentive.

Here on the other hand they are slow they brought our dishes one by one with a 30minute interval between them.
The food is glorious though

“Outstanding food and service”

We were a group of people that wanted to sample many things from the menu. They brought in varieties of sushi, ceviche, and other delicacies. The food was terrific, and the service was attentive and generous. Great overall experience.

“Superb.”

The best restaurant in Santiago by far & one in our top 3 in South America. All dishes were excellent and service was extremely pleasant. Pity the hostess is a bit sour, slightly rude & doesn't speak english - if it wasn't for the concierge trying to book us the table, I would have given up.

“Great selection and creativity with the dishes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2014

We had a great dinner at chef Ciro Watanabe's Osaka restaurant in Santiago. We didn't know exactly what to order but the waiter gave us suggestions on a tasting menu that brought us the best of what he makes. It wasn't as pricey as we expected it to be, but it was by no means cheap either. At the same time, the quality of the food was high and the flavors had a mix of Peruvian, Chilean and Nikkei food. The ambiance was a bit pretentious, considering it was at the W Hotel in Santiago, but it was by no means uncomfortable.

Definitely recommend it if you want to try fusion Japanese and South American.
