The hotel - while not in the most scenic spot of Santiago is in a nice residential suburb and we enjoyed being walking distance to supermarkets, cafes and shops.
The hotel is a beautiful building. While the rooms are not huge they have a lovely ambience and are nicely furnished with wi fi and a mini bar. The common areas of the hotel are lovely and you could happily sit there all day. The front desk staff are exceptional and organised cars, taxis and restaurant bookings for us . Highly recommended.

We stayed here on our return through Santiago before heading on to Sydney, and wish we had found it earlier.

We had a room on one of the higher floors over looking rooftops of the neighbourhood. The hotel was very comfortable, with well appointed rooms and off a quiet street. Service was friendly and very efficient. Having stayed in Bellavista before ... it was great to find a quiet and restful hotel in Santiago. The evenings were very cool when we were in Santiago, and it was lovely returning to the warmth of Le Reve.

Only thing two things we would weigh up on a return through Santiago and staying at Le Reve; we didn't find Providencia to be an interesting neighbourhood to walk around and explore, and in the warmer months we'd definitely be seeking a hotel with a pool.

We stayed at Le Reve fore 2 nights in early June 2013. The hotel is welcoming and very comfortable. The rooms are of sufficient size and clean. The hotel has an excellent breakfast area/sitting room and courtyard. (Honour bar and snacks were a good idea.) (WIFI access was good.)
The hotel is well located, in a quiet street, close to a number of restaurants.
The differentiator was the service. It was good. The staff were very helpful. (We left very early on the third day and breakfast was organised for us.)

We recently stayed for two nights at Le Reve and were very happy with our stay. The rooms were very well appointed, elegant and comfortable. The bed was so great, so comfy. I was really charmed by their late night snack option and honor bar. The breakfast was lackluster, with few offerings and trays that were left next to empty for quite sometime. All in all, great location and french charm would bring me back on my next trip to Chile.

We couldn't be more pleased with our stay at the charming Hotel Le Reve. It is steps from a main thoroughfare but the street itself is quiet and peaceful. It is a short walk from the metro station that can get you anywhere you need to go in the city. The front desk staff is very helpful and they speak English. They gave us excellent restaurant suggestions all within walking distance. The hotel is well-appointed. Breakfast is served in the beautiful living room. There is a variety of breads, cheeses, thinly sliced meat, fruit, yogurt, cereal, nuts, scrambled eggs, juices, and of course hot coffee. There is a lovely courtyard as well. We had a king-sized room with an armoire and a mini-fridge. There is a desk and a tv. The bathroom, while not large, was perfect for our needs. Nice shower and amenities. Housekeeping staff does not speak English but they are very cheerful, eager to clean your room, and very thorough! We highly recommend this hotel. We think it is an excellent value as well.

Service is great and when you're in the lobby area seems like you're at home. The room is very nice decorated and clean. Location is great. I was working for 1 or 2 hours when they offered me some tea and cookies.

This was a fantastic find. We were on our way down to Patagonia and had a one night layover in Santiago before flying down to Punta Arenas. The hotel itself was fantastic with very comfortable rooms and a great lounge area with a garden for having breakfast or just hanging out. It's on a safe, quiet street with plenty of great restaurants and sights in easy walking distance. So the hotel was amazing but the real story for us was the staff. The experience started with a wine tour to the Casablanca Valley we had booked in advance through the hotel. Our overnight flight was delayed and we were about an hour late for the schedule time to leave for the tour. This was no problem at all and Chenier, our tour guide, was there waiting for us when we arrived and we didn't feel rushed in the least. They also helped us avoid a near disaster as I realized that I had left a small bag on the plane which contained a bunch of asthma and allergy medication---not something you want to be without when hiking through Patagonia for 5 days. The hotel called the airline and when they couldn't get through our tour guide gladly offered to take us back to the airport where after speaking to several people, he located the lost and found and sure enough, they had the bag. As you can imagine, two Americans who don't speak a lick of Spanish could have never navigated a foreign airport to find a lost and found tucked away in some remote corner of the terminal. Needless to say, Chenier really saved the day for us. After we got my bag back, we were on our way to a fantastic wine tour as if we didn't skip a beat. If you book a tour through the hotel, ask for Chenier---he is awesome. Lastly, when we were on our way back from Patagonia, we had a 9 hour layover in Santiago. I emailed Gabriel, the hotel manager to see if we could store our bags there while we explored the city. Not only did he let us do that at no charge but we also had breakfast in the hotel lounge and several cocktails in their garden area while we unwound in between flights. I highly recommend Le Reve if you are ever in Santiago. Gabriel and the staff are amazing and you'll definitely enjoy your stay!
