“Average but full”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

Good value for money. Very little privacy all the tables are close to each other. Food menu is good but missing flavor and seasoning. If you look for a quick Peruvian bite go for it, but do not look for a great Peruvian food experience. Overall ok but nothing special.

“Excellent Peruvian food!”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

Another of Gaston Acurio's accomplishments, this peruvian restaurant is perfect for a good social reunion with friends. Why? Environment is chill. Staff is nice. Lots of big dishes for everyone to dig in. Nothing of the super formal environment of some places where you actually have to concentrate on not laughing to loudly or stuff. Also, best juices I've ever tried -- not kidding. Overall, a culinary experience that excels among its competitors.

“Unhealthy place”
Reviewed June 20, 2012

Great food, but beware of the place. Sometimes, when it's cold they use butane outdoor heather in the interior. Imagine a fully packed room with a patio heater inside.

“Average peruvian that doesn´t hurt”
Reviewed June 4, 2012

I´m a great fan of peruvian food, this one located at Parque Arauco is not exactly where peruvians go but it won´t let you down. I always have their lomo saltado, it´s a good quantity of food and well seasoned. The juices are also very good. The place is in a mall, so don´t expect an amazing presentation. For an easy place specially if you have family that go crazy on malls it will satisfy.

“Gringos beware!”
Reviewed May 13, 2012

I had a meal here on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed therefore the service was not great. I ordered a glass of Veramonte SB - which I know well. The glass was not filled in front of me, and what I received was defnitively not what I had ordered and paid $10 for. It was vinegar. For starters I had the Peruvian Civiche, which was very good. For main course I ordered their house speciality of Lomo Salteado with Pasta for about $25. I received a heap of spaghetti with two slivers of meat about the 3x2 x1/8 inches each, 5 pieces of red onion and one piece of carrot. The person at the next table ordered the same and received a healthy portion of meat and vegetables. When I complained I got a barrage of Spanish thrown at me and the bill was promptly provided. I would go there again but only if I go with a local that understand the language.
