My husband and I stayed at the Aubrey at the start of our holiday to South America. What a great start to our holiday. The Aubrey is quite simply one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff and owners go out of their way to make your stay pleasurable even arranging cocktails to watch the sun set. Dinner at the resturant is a must the food is fantastic. It was a real treat for us to stay in the Aubrey and I hope will not be my last.

We recently stayed at the Aubrey. The staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. Cynthia at the front desk is a gem! We stayed in a loft room and enjoyed the room very much. The room was spacious and comfortable. We looked over the pool and was not bothered by any noise. The hotel location is close to great restaurants, markets,etc... The pool area is like an oasis in the city. The breakfast was served with attention to detail and was very good. Enjoyed our stay.... would return.

This place is fabulous. On a recent trip to Chile we stayed twice, a couple of nights at the beginning of our holiday, and one night on our return. Pablo who runs the front desk is AMAZING! So helpful and welcoming, as are the other staff we met. Nothing is too much trouble. The room we stayed in (both visits) was beautiful and extremely well thought through. The beds are a dream, the decor is so unique and the house itself has been restored beautifully. The swimming pool is lovely, and even better when heated for a night time swim. It truly is a home away from home. What an amazing vision the owners had, it must have taken years and years to realise their dream. I wish them all the success in the world and there is no question that we will be back to stay in this very special hotel.

I had high expectations of this hotel and it was recommended by another colleague in Chile. Excessive noise in the restaurant meant that I missed my flight the next day. I have heard nothing from the owners of the hotel so I assume they do not care what my experience was - I did complain but I have heard nothing since.

Our experience at The Aubrey was wonderful and exceeded some pretty high expectations I'd had after reading glowing reviews of the place. The hotel is a unique combination of chic comfort and genuine friendliness - we were greeted very warmly upon our arrival, and enjoyed the personalized service from both the owners and the staff over the entire course of our stay. They went out of their way at every turn to be helpful, and to help us enjoy the city and our stay.

Our room was lovely, and had a view of the beautiful, well-heated pool, and gardens leading up to Cerro San Cristobal. We enjoyed a few soaks, glass of wine in hand, as the sun set over the city, which was a great way to unwind after a busy day of walking around the city. The location in Bella Vista is ideal, several good restaurants and music clubs are only steps away, as is the Neruda house (La Chascona) and the funicular. The property itself has been wonderfully restored, and the outside space is also lovely.
Breakfasts were hearty yet healthy, and we enjoyed our dinner at Pasta y Vino, the hotel's restaurant (only serves pasta). If you're wondering whether it's worth the splurge - go for it!

Staying at The Aubrey in Santiago made our trip! We were greeted by friendly and attentive staff and invited to "make ourselves at home" which was easy to do in such a stunning and service-oriented setting. This boutique hotel is exquisitely modern in design, perfectly situated and an absolute MUST STAY in Santiago.

the property is magnificent, you can appreciate the grandeur of the original construction as well as an impeccable remodeling of the property. i don't recommend the front house since it's extremely noisy from thursday through sunday, since the aubrey it's located on the center of santiago's nightlife. ask for a room in the original house. the rooms are clean and well kept. note that the " loft " is really not a loft, it's a large room with two single beds.
now to the growing pains, the front desk staff needs to be more professional, not at the level of the property. breakfast is included but service is erratic, once again not very professional, the owners should hire a staff that is professional with hotel and food & beverage experience, I felt they've hired " beautiful people " to do a job that are clueless
in doing. i asked to exchange some euro's, no change available, i asked in a few occasions but no exchange was available. they have the best italian restaurant in santiago, although service is sub par as well. i think once they take control of the service issue it will become one of the best hotels in santiago. time will be the best judge. i wouldn't recommend the aubrey right now, since the relation price - service is not there yet.
