“Amazing quality”
Reviewed September 28, 2010

I spent 5 nights in the hotel while on a business trip to Santiago, and enjoyed every bit of it.
The hotel is located in the very center of Santiago, a couple of minutes from the subway (La Moneda), various touristic attractions, and different governmental offices.
The rooms are very big and comfortable. You will find there everything a business traveler might need. I reserved a double bed, and in fact got two rooms, a kitchen and a very comfortable bathroom.
The kitchen also allows you to cook and a supermarket is conveniently located 2-3 minutes of walk from the hotel.
Perhaps the most exciting highlight of the hotel is its views - if you're lucky to get a room on a high floor, you'll see the whole city of Santiago and, on a clear day, the magnificent Andes that surround the city.
The hotel is warmly recommended!

We choose this hotel following the reviews we saw on TripAdvisor, and really was our very best choise.
The location exceptional, just on the side of the Entel tower, very center of the city, 2 blocks from the Palacio de la Moneda and just in front of the subway station La Moneda.
This hotel starts on the 17th floor, so any room you get you´ll have a nice view from the city. The room are exactly the best we expected, large, good bed, very good and equipped kitchen. Only the bathroom is a little small but doesn´t affect the general opinion about the room.
Staff very helpfull, nice to talk to, and, always prestative.
Beakfast was fair enought.

The rooms are great. Modern, big and with a good kitchen. All things are brand new. The view is amazing! The bathroom is ok, the bath is too tiny.
The problem is the service. It´s more like a flat than like a hotel. I asked if it was posible to get a late check out (the hotel was empty ) and they didn't even think about it (all the hotels that I went always checked if it was posible). The breakfast is just ok.
The location is great (near the subway, and if you like to walk, near a lot of restaurants), but the hotel is really difficult to find. Call them and ask for directions, don't go just with the adress. I was at the same block of the hotel and could not find it!

Perfect for those who travel with children, the kitchen has everything you may need. Also, a mp3 player, a comfortable couch (a person could sleep in there), big and cozy bed, good heater, all of the rooms located in a high floor with a great view of the city (the hotel rooms start at the 19th floor), good breakfast, free cable internet. One block from the Palacio de la Moneda, a metro station straight ahead and a low-priced supermarket in the same complex buildings. It was just perfect!

The only bad thing I could comment is that the bath-tub is too small, only a seated person can fit in, useless...

RQ suites center Santiago (Alameda calle) is a brand new tower in the center of the city, just in the corner of E Tower (phone company). You do check-in a door that stay in the midle of a gallery of other business offices. The place you stay is deeper, a employee takes you there. Its a very new tower, with new rooms, that are big, clean, modern. Quiet night, good sleep, nice breakfast. We were there for a mining exposition and stayed 3 nights. There is a Santander agency on the corner, a supermarket underground, open untill late or 24 hours, I m not sure. You are just in the center, if you do not care to have cheap meals, you are closer to them, but also, not far by walking or cab to some other higher quality places. The price we paid, for 2 people, was 100 USd for night, being 300 at total. Very good in terms of cost benefit. Staff is polite, we spoke in spanish, do not know about english, but there are some young people there, so, they probably will know. I think, for business, is the best place to stay at Santiago, especially after I looked for some other hotels. It was a good choice to stay at this one.

RQ Santiago Suites is a typical business class hotel. You won't have the fancy ammenities of a 5-Star accommodation, but you will have easy access to public transportation in a comfortable and safe room that is well priced for a newer property. There is a grocery store about 1-minute away from the front desk; there is free broadband internet access; and a nice kitchenette should you want to save a bit more by eating in your room instead of out on the town. Small gripes: the room key had to be reactivated multiple times during my stay and the bathroom (the shower, in particular) is ultra tiny so bigger/taller folks should keep that in mind.
