We have been in Santiago for less than two days staying at the Aubrey Boutique Hotel (More on the Aubrey in another review). Eladio was very near out hotel almost at the foot of the funicular. We went at 20h00 with no reservation and were greeted with warmth and good will. The food was superb, starting with Pisco Sours (YUM!) followed by Camarones (grilled shrimp in butter sauce), followed by pepper rib eye and Grilled tenderloin (cooked medium rare to perfection) accompanied by Cabernet Sauvignon (Miquel Torres Gran Reserve). Service was superb (Three staff taking care of us!) and, on a hot night in Santiago, gentle air conditioning. What a jewel: Don't miss it!

We were in Santiago for two nights returning from Valparaiso. At the hotel we were given a few options, but some of them were closed. I noticed the name in blue neon up in a buiding and, since the hotel staff had said it was a good place, we decided to check it out. A nice place, a very nice place, nice décor, carefully cared-for tables and their distribution, and a restful feeling about the place. We were vey lucky with what we chose to eat, the wiaters were excellent and, halway through the meal, music: a saxophone and a guitar - jazz, brazilian bossa nova, in fact. Besides being well-played, the volume permitted conversation and made the meal better. Like I wrote, it was a very nice surprise since the blue neon did not in any way suggest that it would be such a nice place to go to.

Found this recommended by tripadvisor and only 120 metres from where we were staying. It was difficult to find initially without a map but thankfully we persisted and had a great night. The staff spoke little English but the menus were in English so that helped.
Both our steaks were cooked to perfection and we ordered only one side dish to share and that was heaps.
They also had 375 ml wine bottles which was very convenient.

This may be the best value restaurant if you are carnibour dinner, went few times, portoons are big and meat is fresh and grilled to your taste...
salads are exceptionally large. and service is by professional waiters, who know the dishes and will explain it well.

Recommended.

Asked for the rib-eye, medium well. We got a piece of meat burned in the outside and almost raw inside. The beef was as hard as a show sole, perhaps even harder.

The french fries disgusting, the ones that are bought pre-pepared, what a shame for a restaurant that is not fast food.

I told the waiter about the unacceptable quality of the beef, and instead of taking note, she told me that I should have to talk directly to the "barbecue master".

Simply stay away from this restaurant, that used to be good.
