I had a burger with fries and I loved it. You can find a variety of traditional German dishes in the menu.

Always busy as the restaurant is near the Tobalaba metro; simple hot dogs and german based cuisine - Kuntsmann torobayo on draught always helps wash things down

My fiancé and I have been there for dinner on our first night in Santiago and ordered beer and meat dishes, chicken for him and beef for me. It didn´t take very long for the food to be prepared and the reason is that it wasn´t "really prepared"! My huge steak, which I´ve asked to be ´well done´, was bleeding, almost mooing and the potatoes acompaning it were half done, hard. One side dish (agregado) ordered with the chicken was boiled green beans which were cold (from the fridge), uncooked. The beer was fine, though.
It´s an out-of-date place and the clients are mostly young people who go there to watch soccer on the big tv screens they have. Even the waitors were more interested in the game than in the customers...

I've been to this bar/ restaurant on many different trips to Chile. As before, the service outside at the pavement tables is quick. They serve standard Chilean completos and sandwiches: filled to overflowing with palta (avocado), tomatoes and beef or chicken, plus steaks, chips and an improved selection of beers that include local microbrewery/ artisan beers as well as the standard cold tasteless lager. Maybe too much mayonnaise for my liking, but the sandwiches are still very good and the waiters are helpful and remembered to bring completos without mayonnaise! Many locals, from students to office workers, and very handy for Tobalaba metro.

As an aficionado of Chilean-style sandwiches, I can say that they do an average to good job with the classics. The portion size is typically large, as it should be. The meat a little tough, unfortunately, and not the tastiest. Their completos were quite good.

The lunch crowd is quite large, so get there early if you want a table inside or outside.
