Tucked away just off Plaza de Armas, the renovated Museum of Pre-Columbian Art is a half-day well spent. As well as artifacts found in Chile, there are also displays from surrounding countries.
After a while it may get a touch same-same, but it is a good insight into how the peoples of South America lives.
