We happened upon Pantaleon by accident whilst wandering around Bella Vista and decided to give it a try for lunch. The restaurant doesn't look much from the outside - or inside - as the decor is tired and old fashioned. Don't be fooled. The food is fantastic. The ceviche was the best I have had in Chile. I may point out to the reviewer who did not like the ceviche that it is best to have some bread before ceviche as the acidity that is part of the dish can upset stomachs if you are not used to it. This is not the fault of the restaurant. The service was good and very friendly. Beware the pisco sours - very strong!! An excellent and unexpected lunch.
