The inside of Don Jorge isn't anything special: checkered table cloths, booths, and no smoking signs on every wall. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place on a rainy evening. It seemed like a cozy place, and the food smelled good, so we decided to have dinner. About 4 of the 12 or so tables were full of locals, and no one spoke English.
We had a bottle of red wine and each had a lomo steak with mushroom sauce and fries. The mushroom sauce was creamy, and the steak was cooked well. The fries weren't the best. The total bill was about $40 - much cheaper than the more popular Puerto Varas eateries. We recommend it for a casual, budget-friendly but tasty dinner.
