“Exciting fresh seafood and atmosphere”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Tonight it is less than 5 degrees and we walked down the hill to las buenos brasas. Superb fire and setting we had dishes of scallops , crab, abalone, Chilean bass and it was all pleasing highly recommend for the seafood gourmand.

“Fish at its best”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Happened on this restaurant by chance and we were not disappointed by the quality of the fish dishes that were on offer. The ceviche served while we were waiting for our main course was excellent and a perfect opener for the conger fish and seafood platter that followed. It was great to get some really fresh vegetables to accompany the meal. Good choice of wine to wash it all down. Great service from a very friendly waiter who answered all our questions. Fantastic place to eat fish at a very good price.

“Best seafood in town”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

The 3 of us had the best fish/seafood dinner here. We had sea bass, hake and a seafood platter. All were wonderfully prepared. The French fries and grilled vegetables were great also. A must for seafood lovers.

“Best Food for your Money”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

I loved this restaurant I went there twice. What restaurants gives you on the house 10 oysters and a cup of salmon ceviche and pebre for free before you order!!! ordered the jardin del mar seafood plate for too, and was delicious ( razor clams with meteted cheesem oysters , barnacles (picorocos), centolla, crab legs, tow pots with a sort of fish blend) etc...worth the 40 bucks plus the generous and large wine glasses at about 5 bucks each a steal. I will go back there anytime. And Cecilia, the ownwer is a great host.

“Not mentioned in the guide books and should be!”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

We stopped by late one evening and were so impressed by the waiter that squeezed us in for a quick dessert, that we came back a week later and again were seated in a "full" restaurant. We both stuck to seafood and everything we ate was top notch. Service was excellent and friendly. The place was full of locals willing to befriend and humor us, the only gringos in the restaurant. If we had another night we would have returned again. Great place!
