The best thing about this place is everything; the worst thing is having to leave!
We were greeted warmly and every comfort was made available to us. We were in the Bandurria (Honeymoon) Suite which had an en suite bathroom with a double Jacuzzi bath, separate huge shower and a dressing room with space for clothes for a month! The room was stunning, with beautiful views across the lake.
Our guides were excellent with a great knowledge of the area, flora and fauna. We had a memorable trip to the island of Chiloé where we visited the markets of Ancud, drove to an isolated beach where we took a boat ride to see Humboldt and Magellanic penguins in their natural habitat, and then had lunch in a restaurant overlooking the beach.
We were made so welcome and the staff became our friends so it was very sad to leave them.

The excursion to see the pinguines is almost a must staying at Quincho. Very happy that you would have loved to stay longer .... well - you can always come back.
Thank you for letting us know about your experiance with us.

No words can actually describe this place which includes 4 beautiful huge luxurious sweets all located in a gorgeous house with kitchen that serves u with spoiling breakfasts and a chef that cooks the dinners... Don't miss it when u stay in this region. And the staff- Isabelle Nd carolina- are outstanding!

We had previously visited the Chilean lakes (10 years ago) and were keen to find a base where we could optimise our visit. Having previously enjoyed the explora experience in chile we were keen to try something similar in the lakes.

Quincho lived up to all expectations to the extent we extended our stay. Whilst not cheap, the house is fantastically located and the stay made very personal given there are only 4 rooms and the staff are great -  a real boutique experience. Thanks Isabel and carolina who were great hosts throughout our stay.

Although most guests only stay a few days there are plenty of activities to enjoy to keep you occupied. Chiloe island (which we did on 2 very full day tours), Orsono volcano , white water rafting, and Frutilar are all musts! Marcello was one of the most engaging guides we have ever been with and it was a real pleasure exploring the area with him and learning about the region and it's history. The trips were very personalized and every effort made to ensure every day was a huge success and fun.

Highly recommended.

Thank you very much! This is exactly what we always try - to adjust our services - food, excursions and general attention to the rythm, interest and taste of each client. We have a very nice infrastructure but at the end our team makes the big difference. Thank you for spending your time in letting us know your opinion.

Just returned with my wife. Three of the best days we had on our entire trip. An unbelievable place. Like staying at home rather than in a hotel and absolutely first class. Terrific guides and tours. A very special place.

We received superb service. The room was luxurious and possibly the best we have experienced. Sadly, the cooking was way below the price level with meats over cooked and the chocolate fondant very dry. No wifi in the bedroom was a bit of a basic oversight. At nearly £600 a night, this place is hugely overpriced. At this price, one expects Michelin starred cooking and superb amenities. In summary, great staff, lovely room and house but far too expensive and a little pretentious.

Beautiful architecturally designed lodge with four elegant rooms offering utter tranquillity , fantastically comfortable beds, and rooms with every amenity. Views from our window across the lake to Volcano Osorno. The food was authentic Chilean, wonderfully cooked and presented . The pisco sours were the best we had in Chile, whilst the wine selection impressed my very discerning husband. From the moment we were collected from the airport we were made to feel welcome. Our guide for the stay had an encyclopaedic knowledge of trees flowers birds wild-life and the geology of the area. (as well as the English Premiership) We had some wonderful hiking and picnics with him as well as a trip to Chiloe where we were treated to dolphins, sea otters and penguins amongst much else. On our return each afternoon Silja (the manager) would invariably be there to greet us with tea, cakes, cocktails and boot drying services. We will definitely visit again even if we have to make a detour in our itinerary to do so. I cannot see how anyone would be disappointed.

This is a great place to explore the area around Vicente Peres Rosales park. We did some amazing hikes to some of the close-by mountains and volcanoes. What sets this place apart from other hotels is the small size - four suites in total only - and the intimate atmosphere. The manager and staff are extremely friendly in organizing all kinds of activities (river rafting, hiking, horseback riding etc.)
