The best thing about this place is everything; the worst thing is having to leave!
We were greeted warmly and every comfort was made available to us. We were in the Bandurria (Honeymoon) Suite which had an en suite bathroom with a double Jacuzzi bath, separate huge shower and a dressing room with space for clothes for a month! The room was stunning, with beautiful views across the lake.
Our guides were excellent with a great knowledge of the area, flora and fauna. We had a memorable trip to the island of Chiloé where we visited the markets of Ancud, drove to an isolated beach where we took a boat ride to see Humboldt and Magellanic penguins in their natural habitat, and then had lunch in a restaurant overlooking the beach.
We were made so welcome and the staff became our friends so it was very sad to leave them.
