OK our trip was at the end of July - the middle of winter. The day before it had rained in the valley so the 14 KM drive on a wet gravel road was an adventure by itself. There were sections that from the freeze-thaw-rain action were very loose sloppy mud and on STEEP hills. One section, My car was sliding all over and the raging river was to our right and straight down.
On the way out we used the snow traction control on the rental car and it made the trip a LOT easier.

We finally made it safely and what a great set up! They have a bunch of pools that collect the hot run off and mix it with cold water to keep the temperature stable. Even in the winter there were a lot people so locker room space is at a premium. Leave valuables locked in car - they have a staff of people in parking lot- and bring a backpack.

I absolutely loved the Termas Geometricas. It was super relaxing to go sit in the thermal waters, especially since I was here during the winter. Totally worth the almost 2 hour trip. There are different temperatures in different pools, and you are surrounded by nature and beauty. Plus, when we went it started snowing, so the experience of being in a warm thermal bath under the falling snow was surreal.

The only negatives were the extremely rocky ride there along dirt roads, which left me feeling nauseous, though this may have been the speed at which our driver was going :P
Also, because it was snowing, it was extremely cold running from one pool to another. Bring sandals! I didn't have any, so my feet were freezing each time I had moved from one pool to another.

Overall, an amazing experience.

We went during a snowstorm and it was magical. The hot spring waters, the beautiful construction and the volcano setting are a unique experience - nothing to do with your typical spa resort. Unmissable experience in Pucón, regardless of the weather! Also, side note: the food at the termas is very decently priced. We had the consomme natural (a chicken soup) and it was a welcome treat in the cold.

“A must for hot spring lovers”

The thermal baths are set on the valley... The place is beautiful. It costs about 19,000 pesos to visit and its really worth it.
We didn't know this but it rains a lot in Pucon during June/July... and the best time to go to the hot springs is during rainy days so don't let the rain stop you from going outside...
There's like 7-10 hot springs around Pucon but this one is the daddy of them all.
Best to go with an agency, it takes around 1 hour 45 minutes to get there.. Its a nice drive to see the country side.
Some pools where closed when we got there but because there's so many, you get to dunk yourself in at least half of dozen of them...

“Paradise on Earth :)”

This place is amazing!! We travelled from Pucon to Vallarrica, then to Lican Ray, leading to Conaripe before branching off onto 17km of dirt road to Termas Geometricas. I must say the drive up the mountains with little signage was quite scary but all the stress and anxiety melted away just walking into this magical place. Words fail to describe how amazing it is to see the pools as the steam cleared up and they were all surrounded by the unspoiled nature. There are even two waterfalls to look at. A must go for anyone with a day to spare in Pucon.. I did not get to visit other thermas in the area but from those pictures none can really rival Geometricas. Lockers are provided along with locks and towel, and there's a restaurant area with wood fire for heat and nice snacks. I recommend leaving early as we nearly got lost in the mountains as the sun was setting quickly and our plan of cutting through the national park didnt work out, so we ended up retracing the path back to Conaripe and the other towns. An absolute experience never to be forgotten :)
