“Unusual hot springs”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

The name says it - geometric shapes and various thermal pools - as you walk into a canyon, you have your choice of pools with varying temperatures, as hot water from volcanic action is mixed with cold water from ice melts from the Andes.

“Meh...”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Yes... there are 20 over pools and the pools are surrounded by a temperate forest that looks gorgeous in the snow,

BUT

1) The long drive to and from Pucon (50 minutes) is simply not worth it. Also, since the bus leaves at intervals of 2 hours, you are VERY likely to be squeezing with the bulk of the tourist who ALL leaves on the 7pm or 9pm buses. Tip: Go earlier and leave earlier to beat the crowds

2) The temperature of the waters in the hot springs varies A LOT. So the more popular (warmer) hot springs can get PRETTY crowded

3) The lack of amenities. The ticketing office is a 20 minute uphill walk from the pools. It's also the last place that you can rent towels from. The toilets, as mentioned by the rest are small cabanas that can get really wet and dirty at the end of the day. In other words, not a good place to be stuck without a towel to dry yourselves. There's also no restaurants/food places at the hot springs. We were pretty hungry after a soak in the hotsprings but couldn't eat till we arrived back in town almost 2 hours later

“Go to see the facility”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

It is a wonderful facility, well designed up a creek ravine. However if you are just looking for a hot soak I might check out other places. It cost us $38 per person and you'll probably spend much of the day driving there and back. All access roads are gravel and sometimes slow going.

“Not Genuine Hotsprings”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

Too touristy. These certainly are not natural. Within an hour we were bored. After a 40 minute drive this was quite disappointing.

“A long drive but what a reward”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

After 1:30 minutes drive from Pucon we arrived early in the morning so the termas were not crowed. Just fantastic
