“Not Worth It”

It's 500 pesos to get in. Don't expect much. Both falls are tiny (I've seen artificial falls that are twice as large) and not very scenic. There were many people trying to pose with the falls though. i didnt see what the draw was. There're much nicer falls in the Lake District. If you must go, the same bus that goes to Lago Caburgua makes a stop at the main road. From here, it's 300 meters to the ticket booth.

My husband and I rode bikes here from Pucon which was a bit of a workout. But I was very pleased when we got to the waterfalls. They are beautiful. Not huge, but very very pretty.

The water was bright blue/turquoise which was stunning. However, be careful not to exit the wrong way as you end up on a dirt track and can't get back to the main road for the bus!

We hired bikes in Pucon and rode to the falls. It was a good day out but pretty hard riding. It took us a whole day and we ended up riding about 50km.

The falls weren't amazing, good to see but definitely not a "must". Only do it if you have the time and coming from someone who was silly enough to do this the day before the volcano, don't follow I my footsteps. This rode is very hilly and your legs will absolutely hate you the next day!

Very short hike to a very natural place where merging waterfalls create a beautiful pool. Many other beautiful high waterfalls nearby to explore
