It's a very cozy place to stay, located in a paradise. The place is very clean but the warm water in the shower takes some time to be ready. Their breakfast is really poor but you can use their kitchen to prepare your own meals, which is good.

This is a nice clean hostel, however it is well over priced for what you get. It is roughly $100 a night ($50,000 Chilean pesos) for 3 people. Our room is small, had trouble with hot water (though eventually got it), doors have a fine art to lock closed, no soap provided, and owners seem a little too into themselves (rather than their guests).

Even we stayed at the end of the summer season, the room still cost around 54 euro per night. Later on we know that for this price you can also find some other nice places. We stayed 4 nights, the owner is a kind man spoke good English. The place is clean and gives a family house feeling. Nice living room, even have a bar area which i find pretty cool. We wanted to find a decent place to stay instead of the cheap hostels in the center, so it fits perfectly our needs. The bed is quite comfortable, we had good night sleep there especially after some tough hiking. The bathroom has some problem with the water, need to be repaired. Breakfast is simple just like all the other places. location is close to the lake, which is 5 mins walk from the center. The only complain we had was the last day after Volcano hike we asked if could take shower before took our over-night bus, we were charged 10.000 pesos to take a shower which is quite expensive.

We stayed here for a few nights in an ensuite room. The room was ok although we had to ask for towels and toilet paper, with a tv, table, chair, closet with hangers and comfortable bed. The shower was a bit cramped and everything was quite old.
Our room was just behind the reception and because most of the place is made out of wood this was very noisy. The owner seems to live upstairs, and using the stairs also made a huge lot of noise.
The kitchen is rather basic with a loads of plates but only a few pans and no hot water, but the common living room is nice and comfortable, with a fireplace and computer for common use. A decent breakfast is being served in the morning, including eggs, although we had to hurry a lot on the day we left cause there was no breakfast before 9am.
The staff was at first very friendly and helpful, but in the next few days we saw them only a few times drying clothes near the fireplace or heating up pizza in the kitchen and not paying real attention to the guests (or maybe the folks who we thought were the staff actually weren't, but only friends of the owner helping us before). Most of the time there was a only a lady of the housekeepingstaff available, who spoke only Spanish.

The place is like a 10 minute walk to the center of the mainstreet, in a quiet street close to the waterfront.

It's not easy to find some low budget accommodation in Pucon, so I guess this is a rather good option, but if possible find yourself a room at the side.

The Refugio Peninsula bills itself as a Bed & Breakfast, but its style is somewhere between that and a ski lodge or hostel. The rooms line a hall that branches off from the front desk and dining area in a way that feels like campground cabins -- and in fact there is a standalone cabin for a group or family that is independent from the main building. The B&B label is appropriate if only because they do serve a decent breakfast to guests, but the real draw is the atmosphere created by the super-friendly staff. You could stay a day or a month and feel right at home. They also have a lovable small dog that is one of the cutest things on the planet.

Room Tip: They will let you see available rooms if you want to choose your favorite.
