Delightfully relaxed after the Malvinas Lodge and Upland Goose.

Nice walk up from the sea front through the town, lots of locals eat here.

Tasty burgers, not too much lamb (known locally as 365!) and decent chips.

A bit brightly lit but, hey, Stanley isn't exactly flush with decent eateries.

This is a fast food, great quality, great value restaurant, albeit located slightly out of town. Though once you're there they do have access to one of the few wi-fi hotspots in the town. The staff are mainly Filipino and make basic simple food taste great. Don't expect anything fancy. We were delighted with our steak and chips delivered just how steak and chips should be served all at a good price.

A great lunchtime experience at Shorty's - not the kind of place I'd have expected to find in Stanley - more so in some mid-west American town!

Good food and friendly service - well worth a visit.

Apparently so! Shorty's was recommended by our 4x4 guide when we found out the main export of the Falkland was wool and lamb meat. We needed to taste the lamb for ourselves. It was a 10-15 minute walk from the Stanley port, it did not help that it was also raining.

Once seated, we looked at the menu and all of a sudden, the power goes out! Ayayaiii! 15 minutes goes by and thank goodness the power goes back on. What surprised us are the staff behind the counter, they're all FILIPINO's. In this remote island of only 2,000 people, we see 3 filipino staffs, it was very trippy and out of this world as we're filipino's as well cruising on Holland America

We ordered the lamb chops, it was a very simple preparation, cooked on the flat top seasoned with salt. Because the animal itself was raised without hormones, antibiotics, and free range, it made all the difference in the world. The lamb was soft, tender, juice, and sweet. No gamey taste! The meat beats the lamb from new zealand and the simplest of preparation takes out any michelin starred chef. One of the best tasting lamb in the world. Hands down.

My father in law ordered the grilled meat combo, the sirloin, we all know the sirloin here in the U.S. is a fairly tough meat compared to a rib eye or a filet but the sirloin in the Falkland, raised as the lamb is awsomely good! it's fork soft, juicy, and tender. I mean, it's no dry/wet-aged beef but it's awesome for what it is.

My mother in law ordered a fried mullet which is very good! sweet and flakey.

The winner of this dinner was the lamb. So good, we had to order another plateful of it.

Brilliant fast food and excellent attention from imported Philipean workers. Clean and mostley good quality food from a place where most food stuffs have to be imported either from the United Kingdom or Chile.
