We did not get the breakfast package therefore I went over to packet some breakfast while my husband and daughter swam at the swimming pool. As it was a Sunday, only some stalls were open. But it was sufficient to provide us with a fulfilling and cheap breakfast.

Take the Green line to Bugis junction and enter to BGH bldg, department store which sells cosmetics, clothing etc. At the basement is a food hall, as you walk along see a Guardian chemist, opposite is a yummy Korean eatry, and just behind is Punggol Malay eatry which sells a variety of curries, vegetable dishes and also fried fish, the fish is just delicious.I've forgotten the name of this dish it's Tofu fried in a chili sauce, blended with fresh coriander, and long beans and topped up with tamarid juice. While writing, I'm it stimulates the taste buds.
You can get about four different dishes with a nice fresh juice for $8.
Above all, the lady who serves behind the counter, I'd imagine is the BOSS, has a beautiful round face whose always smiling, kind and gives good serves. Enjoy
I also gather at any Hawker stalls, and if you like this fare you might encounter similar food.

Nestled between towering apartment buildings the Food Centre has the feel for 'real' Singapore and so close to the Financial centre. The food is hawker style, fresh and delicious. You can also buy good ipad covers there.

The fried kway teow is not too oily here. Others can be heavy with oil and thus reduce the experience of this fine dish.
