Great location, great atmosphere, great vantage point to see the world pass by or frolic in the waterfountain, the waitress was extremely attentive and polite.

That said, minor disappointment- no haggis. Major disappointment- full meal for 2 adults- S$38. 5 glasses of Coke (about 8 fl. oz, 2 of which were 80% ice), S$42. No, the refills are not free. First time ever my colas cost more than the meal. Go elsewhere.

Highlander is a fun place to hang out. Kind of a Pub and kind of a Disco with mostly Filipino bands performing. They play all kinds of music; rock, dance, pop. Beer is great and drinks are strong. A great place to get drunk and party.

Just returned from a short break in Singapore and stayed in Clarke Quay. We ate in this area each night as we loved the atmosphere and great variety of eateries.0n our 1st night we felt in the mood for some pub food as we had been travelling through Vietnam and Cambodia and had enjoyed amazing Asian food but wanted a change. Big mistake. The food in the Highlander leaves a lot to be desired. The portions are small and it's extremely expensive for pub food. As for 'Scottish' food I think the chef needs to take some lessons as there was nothing traditional about what we were served. We got the bill, extortionate for what we had, then promptly left and went to the Irish pub directly opposite where we enjoyed a good hearty meal and left feeling full.

A Scottish them pub/restuarant on Clarke Quay. You can sit inside or outside adjacent to the fountain. Food's not bad and is a notch or two up from usual pub grub. The curry pie was a winner, They offer a number of those microbrewery draft beers but overall, I thought.that the booze prices, particularly the wines, were over the top for what you get, even by Clarke Quay standards. The nearby Irish pub is a better bet in this regard.
