We first went to the one at the botanic garden, and that was a really busy place, we had to order at the front desk/checkout and the wait was about half hour. But it was worth it, our meals were delicious with a pleasant staff.
The second time was at the national museum. We recognised the name and were ready to queue at the front desk, but this is a different type of franchise, and the waiter does take your orders; the menu is also different. Still, just as nice.
We also like the fact that this company supports charities in poor countries, mainly to do with education of kids, so you know that a part of your bill will go to a good cause.
Keep up the good work.

I had the grilled cheese burger set with soda and fries (SGD 12) - when I was at Food for thought at SAM@8Q. the beef patty was juicy and the fries were so so good. Freshly cut potatoes I think! The ambience is good for breakfast/brunch/lunch/tea - nice bright place, good for weekend catch up sessions with friends, or tea after checking out artwork.

We visited the FFT cafe at the Singapore Museum for a quick drink/snack. Little did we know that a cup of tea, hot chocolate & cake could take 25 mins to be delivered!

It wasn't even busy & they seemed to have more staff than customers!

The tone was set when we arrived & although plenty of seats were free their attitude was that they would rather not serve us as if we were causing a nuisance wanting to give them our business! We pointed out all the empty tables and they relented & actually gave us one of their 10 free tables!

When the drinks came the hot chocolate was nothing special & the tea was a tea bag!!! Not even full leaf in a pot tea!

Don't waste your time (which will be extensive)

Nice and friendly place to have something quick to keep on the go. I had a fish burger and I really enjoyed it. Burger+fries+soft drink=12 SGD

Good place to have a break with your pooch after a walk in the park (external seating) but there are also internal seating. You have to order your food at the cashier and they will serve you when it was ready.
Prices are fair and food is good. It was convenient to reach there by bus and we took it from Orchard Road.
