If you can't find something you like on the menu at Indochine then you might want to re-think your diet. There is a wide choice on the menu and all the dishes we had were well cooked and presented. Indoor or outdoor the restaurant has a great atmosphere. The service is very good with a high ratio of waiters and waitresses to customers. I would recommend Indochine for group dinners. There's plenty of space and with such a varied menu everyone will find something they like.

This is a mid-priced restaurant attached to the Asian Cultural Museum on the waterfront of the Singapore River. The food is good -- maybe 7 or 8 out of 10 for a restaurant with this type of cooking. Service was good but there seemed to be an extra effort to sell a bottle of wine or an extra course, and it got to the point of being a bit annoying. Four of us ad dinner outside and it was nice to have a view of the river and the skyline on the other side. The ambiance was relatively calm and quiet.

We went there last night for a work dinner. The location is spectacular - amazing view of the city adn boat quay and lovely watching the boats go by and the lighting .. but what is the point unless you go there to beer or a wine. The service was pretty good for such a big venue. The food was so average - either doused with chilli or fish sauce or bland. We had soft shell crab, beef, green papaya and green mango salad )the only difference seemed to be the number of chilli, peanuts and sauce - odd), the snapper was awful. It wouldnt take much to improve the food and then this place would be off the charts.

What a nice surprise this was on our last night! We're so glad our concierge arranged this reservation in our best interest. The evening river scene is such fun and scenic and much cooler than daytime. This very full restaurant is immediately adjacent to the Asian Civilizations Museum which we toured first and across from the super vibrant Fullerton Hotel buzz. The food is Thai and Vietnamese. We had Crispy Salad Rolls. soft shelled Crab, Lemongrass Chicken an deflation rice noodles which was generously portioned and a nice bottle of Chardonnay from Chile-La Rapastolle. It was $107 pp which is a value in good Singapore dining.
Don't skip the river at night and this locale makes it sublime.

We met friends at the IndoChine opposite Boat Quay by the Fullerton. Wonderful location if you can dine on the terrace. Food is good, quite expensive and very modest portions - we had just main courses and I could easily have eaten mine all over again. In fact they forgot my order first time round, so I was 10 minutes behind the others - no compensatory drink or anything, just a bit of a flap on their part. Drink is pricy, even by Singapore standards.
