My two sons and I dined here on our stopover night on the way to NZ. We booked well ahead, and so got a great table by the window. The building is one of the tallest in Singapore, so you really feel you're looking down on the city.
The welcome was fantastic - greeted by name without having opened our mouths. The service was attentive, but not intrusive throughout the meal. The food itself was excellent, though the portions for the mains could have been a little larger. As stated in the title the prices were quite steep - dinner for the three of us cost $450, and we didn't even have the more expensive dishes. The dishes on the menu are imaginative without being outlandish (as sometimes happens), and the Assiette de Desserts was excellent.
All in all, an excellent experience, and just right for a special occasion.
