“Fun dining if you like a Belgian beer bar”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

I was in Singapore on business and ate dinner one night (mussels frites) at the bar. The mussels were good, as was the Stella Artois. The woman in charge of the bar has to be the hardest working bartender I have ever seen. This place is busy, but it also is fun and good.

“Impressed by the great promotions offered”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2013

Was at the east coast brunch. Some of the promotions they offer right now.

1 for 1 beers and liquers after 10pm/11pm
Kids eat for free on weekends (!!)

Had the Ocean in a Pot (Mussels) and for SGD40, the portion was sooo generous! Shared amongst 2 people, i couldn't help but notice that it never seemed to end.

Great service- crew was very attentive and filled our glasses without asking.

Had the pork belly and chicken thigh with parma ham- nothing special. Mash potatoes that came with it was not yummy at all. Loved the mini brussel sprouts. Quite blah in fact.

“Decent mussels and endless frites”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

The sheer variety of mussel recipes is almost confusing, but there is something for every bi-valve fan. I personally prefer the more traditional European recipes, but am also a big fan of the Tom Yam, thai style mussels. There are lots of other good dishes on the menu too, such as the croquetas, and the charcuterie platter. It's a shame that someone meddled with, and ruined, the king crab salad on toast. The previous incarnation was heavenly; the current version, the opposite. I hope the chef sees the error of his ways and the recipe is reversed once more!

“A Must if you love Mussels”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2013

Mussels are awesome. Highly recommend the Fromage Mussels. Good choice of Beers and Wine. Drinks were reasonably priced for Singapore, Food was great value for money. Atmosphere, Location and service make this place worth a visit. Another table had a Birthday party and when the cake came out all the staff gathered round and sung Happy Birthday.
