“Sometimes less is more”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2013

No doubt that Aburiya is expensive but really when you take into account the quality and fast of the food, this is by far one of the betterJapanese robatayaki places in Singapore.

I particularly loved the portobello mushrooms, scallops, foie gras and beef short rib.

“Great place for a BBQ meal and a beer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

Aburiya is one of our favourite places in Singapore for Japanese BBQ meats. Located by the river, its a stone's throw from the bar and dessert places post dinner at Robertson Quay, serving a mix of local and Japanese customers.

The selection of meats are good and well marinated. Asahi beer is served by the jug and complements the meal well. We always have a selection of beef, pork, and lamb, together with the fresh salads and fois gras. Do make reservations as its usually full, given the limited seating inside.

“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2012

I frequent Aburiya a few times per month. It's hard to beat BBQ-ing beautiful cuts of meat with your friends while downing sake and sitting on the bank of the Singapore river.

Fantastic experience everytime!

“Best Yakiniku in Singapore”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2012

Aburiya in Robertson Quay is the best yakiniku you will find in Singapore. Run by a lovely Japanese couple who ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The food is amazing, the service excellent and I always keep coming back. If you want a relaxing evening with great fresh produce and outdoor dining by the river then give this a try.

“the yakiniku way”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2012

if you enjoy yakiniku, you enjoy aburiya.

there a wide selections of meat and good combinations of sets.
more important, the sake/shochu list is good to go along with yakiniku.
do expect to smell of bbq when you leave the place, but not so bad compared to others.

we frequent here for yakiniku after work.

roll up and start grilling!
