I've tried all the ramen joints in Singapore and I must say that Baikohken offers a fantastically delicious, homey kind of ramen that is different from the other more flashy ramen places. It is not Ippudo with their fancy-schmany flavor ball and red/white/black decor (I love Ippudo as well but it serves a different kind of ramen than Baikohken). Nor is it Keisuke with the intense pork bone broth. It occupies an entire category of its own -- homestyle ramen, huge portions, delicious and subtle miso or shio or shoyu broth, curly noodles, loads of beansprouts, and ultimate satisfaction at the end of a meal.
The staff is great, also. Very efficient and I've never had a bad experience there. I encourage you to go.
