My friend and I took our 3 year old sons here and they had a wonderful time. They got to sit in the fire truck and spray the hoses! Wonderful adventure and it was free! All of the firemen were very friendly and great with the kids.

Got to learn about the history of the fire stations. We saw some really old fire engines that were once used in singapore.

Central Hill Fire Station is open (free) to the public every Saturday between 9-11am. We joined many local families at the main gate before being welcomed into the inner courtyard. The Station is now home to Singapore's Civil Defense unit so there's a variety of vehicles on display - ambulances, motorbikes, fire engines, 4 wheel-drive vehicles etc. Everyone is welcome to climb on and around the vehicles, open doors, take photos and even try on some of the equipment. The highlight for our kids was the opportunity to hold on to a fire hose and squirt water over the neighbouring fence into Fort Canning Park!

We spent about an hour here and everyone was free to move around at their own pace - a great outing for all ages.

Only valid on one of the sundays per month - call to check

This is one of those "accidents" that happen when you you walk around and go "hmmm, what's this?". Turned out to be good and enlightening (a bit scary for our youngest, 4 at the time). Yes, I got myself a "Singapore Firefighter" bathtowel :-)
